TypeA Travel: Swipe your way to the perfect trip.

TypeA Travel is a trip-planning app that turns itinerary building into a swipe-based experience. Pick a city and your travel dates, then swipe through activity suggestions, Tinder or Hinge style, to build out each day of your trip.

I'm very Type A when it comes to planning trips. I like to plan my days out ahead of time so I actually get to do the activities I want to do.

This idea came out of planning group trips with friends. Coordinating activities gets hard once you're dealing with a bigger group. Everyone has different interests and it takes a lot of back and forth to land on a plan everyone's happy with. I've put together itineraries for trips to Brazil, upstate New York, and parts of Asia, and every time I wished the process were easier and faster.

Overview

TypeA Travel replaces the slow process of researching and organizing activities with a fast swiping flow. You tell it where you're going and when, and it shows you activities matched to the vibe and time of day you're looking for. You swipe yes or no, and it builds your itinerary as you go: structured, but never rigid. It's currently built out for the top 50 travel destinations, with more on the way.

Features

• Vibe tags: Every activity is tagged by vibe (relaxed, adventurous, cultural, and more), so the suggestions you swipe through actually match the kind of day you're trying to have.
• Time of day tags: Activities are organized by morning, afternoon, and evening, so you're building a realistic day-by-day schedule instead of a random list of things to do.
• Swipe to plan: Swipe through activity cards for each time slot and pick your favorites. It's fast and satisfying, but it's not locked in. It's just a set of suggestions for how you might want to structure your day, and you're always the one deciding what makes the cut.
